Community Garage Sale
Mark your calendars and start cleaning out your closets and garages!  Shadow Oaks and Royal Oaks spring community garage sale date is Saturday, April 26th.  There should be lots of traffic in both neighborhoods - so get your items ready!

Trees for Houston
SOCA will be participating in a tree giveaway on Saturday, May 10th.  The trees are donated to us by Trees for Houston.  The variety of trees will be a mix of Oaks, Pines, and Sycamores.  This is a great chance to replace some of the many trees lost to recent storms.  If you need help with planting your trees, that can be arranged.  The time and location in the neighborhood will be posted closer to the date.

Next General Meeting Tuesday, June 10th, 7pm @ Red Balloon Cafe
Guest speaker will be meteorologist Scott Pitney, the Spring Branch Weather Guy

About The Shadow Oaks Community

Shadow Oaks is a west Houston community in Spring Branch, defined by well-built 50's-60's era homes, with large lots and a canopy of mature growth trees. Conveniently located just inside Beltway 8 and just north of I-10, Shadow Oaks is only a 20 minute drive from downtown, and close to many restaurants and shopping venues.

The large Nob Hill park is at the heart of the neighborhood with its walking trails, playground , and baseball/soccer field.

Shadow Oaks subdivision is serious about its deed restrictions. They are strictly enforced with the intention of maintaining property value, and ultimately, the quality of living in this lovely neighborhood.

Citizens On Patrol Program

You want your family to live in a safe community. Why not consider doing your part by joining COP? Volunteers report suspicious activity while enjoying a nice drive through the neighborhood.
